1. About the Report
We started our sustainability efforts in 2023. We aim to share the progress we have made in this area with our management, employees, guests, suppliers, and all other partners, thereby increasing awareness and transforming it into shared goals and successes.
At Alaçatı Adacan Hotel, we are aware of the importance of protecting the world we live in. We pay great attention to this issue both in our corporate tourism practices and in our individual lives. This report details the sustainability efforts we have implemented at our hotel to leave a more livable world for future generations. We strive to leave a better world for future generations through our sustainability practices, which we have grouped under various headings such as the preservation of cultural and social heritage, energy, water and waste management, providing economic and social benefits to the local community, and environmental protection.
In today’s world, where the importance of climate change and global warming is felt more and more every day, we aim to fulfill our responsibility in the best way possible and strive to ensure that environmental awareness is embraced by our employees and stakeholders. We focus on effectively managing sustainability risks and ensuring sustainable growth through long-term strategies, thereby aiming to increase our success day by day. With our Integrated Management Systems, we provide high-quality, healthy, and safe products and services for both our environment and our guests. We aim to achieve our strategic plan by incorporating performance indicators related to our operations into our monitoring systems.

2. Hotel Introduction and Features
As Adacan Hotel, reflecting the unique spirit of Alaçatı, we offer comfortable accommodations for all our guests with our rooms decorated with the warmth of wood and offering city and pool views, our spacious garden, outdoor restaurant area, and swimming pool. We embrace a service philosophy that is comfortable and friendly enough for everyone who comes to our hotel to feel at home, and impeccable enough to allow them to unwind from the fatigue of the whole year.
Our hotel is located in a very central location in Alaçatı village, just a 1-minute walk from Hacımemiş. Adacan Hotel, one of the closest hotels to Hacımemiş, famous for its antique shops, fashion shops, new-generation coffee shops, concept restaurants, cocktail bars, and entertainment venues, is 200 m from Alaçatı Market Place, 3 km from Alaçatı Bazaar, 4.2 km from Port Alaçatı Marina, 6 km from surf schools, and 5.5 km from Ilıca Beach.
In our garden, decorated in a bohemian style, you can enjoy a traditional village breakfast in the mornings, and throughout the day you can use our swimming pool if you wish.
Our hotel is pet-friendly and open all year round.
3. Sustainability Team
There is a “Sustainability Team” consisting of experienced, knowledgeable, and trained professionals to carry out sustainability activities. The roles within this team are Team Leader, Certification Management Representative, Employee and Customer Representative, Environmental Representative, and Energy Management Representative.
4. Reducing Environmental Impact
As Alaçatı Adacan Hotel, within the scope of our accommodation business, we adhere to the requirements of a zero-waste system, protecting the environment, preventing pollution, and minimizing negative environmental impacts.
To this end:
- We comply with legal regulations and strive to reduce our environmental impact. We take care to effectively separate our waste according to its source, group, and hazard class.
- We inform you that using hazardous materials and chemicals only when necessary and in the required amount will reduce both negative environmental impacts and the amount of waste.
- We contribute to protecting nature by preferring materials with recycling and eco-friendly labels in our facility. We strive to create opportunities for reuse.
- We take care to use single-use materials such as paper, napkins, toilet paper, slippers, and packaging only as needed, leaving less waste in nature.
- We store waste correctly in separate areas according to its characteristics, deliver it to licensed/authorized companies without exceeding legal storage time limits, and maintain records. We strive to use water, energy, and all natural resources efficiently. We share this commitment with our employees, guests, and suppliers.
- We measure our environmental management performance, monitor this data against targets, and work to improve our performance.
- We aim to increase the sensitivity and awareness of our employees by educating them on environmental issues.
5. Personnel and Working Life
We are involved in the development and implementation of the sustainability management system, and our employees receive periodic guidance and training on their roles and responsibilities in presenting the system. After their initial orientation, our employees are informed about the rules that each department must follow to improve guest service quality, and we organize our personnel’s participation in aid activities on a voluntary basis in the event of disasters. We regularly inform our personnel about energy saving and the efficient use of equipment.
Alaçatı Adacan Hotel has established positive relationships with the local community and has made it a principle to avoid discrimination based on age, gender, or race among its personnel. We support our personnel in receiving up-to-date training and updating or revising their existing training.

We value being in contact with tourism or other associations and collaborating on various activities such as promoting the country and region.

7. Cultural Studies
Alaçatı Adacan Hotel takes utmost care to preserve the culture and traditions of the Çeşme-Alaçatı region in all parts of the hotel and its architecture. We source the products for our famous traditional village breakfast from the local region and offer them to our guests.
We publish information about important tourist attractions in Alaçatı, Çeşme, and nearby areas on our website and promote the region to our guests. To help our guests better understand the cultural heritage of Alaçatı and Çeşme, we give them free maps and magazines.
